Grill and barbecue oven in one, with a free deflector stone plate:
Family size. Conveniently prepare grill and barbecue meals for up to 6–8 people. No more compromises when it comes to cooking surface. Whether the menu features grilled meats or BBQ sides.
A small amount of charcoal is sufficient for operation. The ceramic body with a wall thickness of nearly 2.5 cm and the 2 cm thick ceramic insert (Firebox) ensure low fuel consumption and unmatched heat retention.
Simple temperature control
There are plenty of ways to set the right temperature, so don’t despair if you don’t get it right the first time. During your first few cooking sessions, you’ll discover how much charcoal and airflow are needed to achieve your desired temperature. The bottom and top vents are very easy to use.
We’re now including a free deflector with every Grilldepot brand kamado grill!
The deflector plate is an essential accessory if you want to prepare meats and sides using the barbecue technique. In terms of function, it acts as a heat-deflecting plate between the glowing charcoal and the grill grate, preventing the food on the grate from receiving direct heat and thus creating a lower-temperature indirect zone. This technique allows us to prepare BBQ dishes.
Did you know? A kamado is more than just a BBQ grill!
Preserving a millennia-old tradition, this thick-walled ceramic grill can be used in countless ways, and every single method results in a unique flavor experience!
Barbecue: The most popular technique is undoubtedly the barbecue (BBQ), which allows for slow cooking at low temperatures to produce juicy and tender beef or pork. BBQ is a genre of its own, with endless variations depending on the meat used, the rub (dry marinade), the wood used for smoking, and the spices.
Oven: Just like a real oven, with thick heat-retaining ceramic walls, charcoal firing, and heat radiating from all sides, you can prepare classic oven-baked dishes. Pork knuckle, scones, flatbread, as well as dishes that can be prepared in heat-resistant ceramic or cast-iron pots. Of course, size may require some compromise, as these ovens are typically smaller (but this also makes heating up easier).
Grill: Just light the charcoal, place the grill grate on top, and you’re ready to start grilling. Steak, boneless chicken thighs, vegetables...can be prepared in no time, just like on a traditional charcoal grill.
Pizza and breads: You’ll never get the true pizza experience in a traditional kitchen oven. But with a kamado, you can! You can heat it up to 350°C and bake authentic Italian or American pizza (the pizza stone is an optional accessory!). The crust will be crispy on the outside in just a few minutes, while the inside stays soft.
10-year warranty on the ceramic body

1000 °F (530 °C)! The ceramic body can withstand this level of heat without damage, and the manufacturer offers a 10-year warranty! Professional craftsmanship is a hallmark of every Kamado grill. Durable Mullit fire-resistant ceramic body, enameled coating, stainless steel springs, cast iron accessories, and a bamboo handle. The factory and its products hold CE, FDA, BSCI, and ISO 9001:2000 certifications.
Warranty
Ceramic body: 10 years
Other metal parts: 2 years
Wooden parts: 1 year
Firebox: 1 year
Hairline cracks on the surface of the stove, is this normal?

Yes, this is a completely normal phenomenon; the description below will help you understand it.
"But what happens if the thermal expansion (alpha) of the glaze is greater than that of the tile?
In this case, the glaze would want to shrink more than the tile it is attached to. If it were a flat tile, the glaze’s contraction would pull the tile upward, causing it to step out of the plane and, in extreme cases, take on an “ashtray” shape. But if our object is not flat but a three-dimensional shape, the tile does not move under the effect of the tensile force. The glaze, however, continues to contract, so a tensile stress arises within the glaze. The greater the difference in thermal expansion between the glaze and the tile, the greater the tensile stress becomes, until the tensile stress tears the glaze apart from the inside. In other words, the glaze tears itself apart through hairline cracks. This is the true phenomenon of hairline cracking.
The greater the thermal expansion of the glaze, the finer the cracks and the more the glaze tears itself apart. The susceptibility of glazed ceramics to hairline cracking is well known."

So there is no need to worry about this phenomenon; in fact, it makes the ceramic grill even stronger and more durable.
