Fairy RUB: A slightly sweet, harmoniously silky spice blend that imparts mild flavors and a subtle fruitiness to meat.
Compared to Mahogany, it creates a brighter, slightly reddish crust on the meat. It is not spicy, so any member of the family can enjoy it without worry.
Primarily a seasoning for poultry and pork, but its fruity flavor profile also pairs excellently with beef. Sprinkling it over the meat 20–40 minutes before the end of cooking, using it as a finishing rub, further enhances the fruity flavor. It also works excellently as a marinade.
It pairs perfectly with any red fruit wood chips (e.g., cherry, blackberry, etc.), as well as sweet, fruity BBQ sauces.
